A new dimension in Packaging and POS

The Lunapack factory comprises of over two hectares of air-conditioned manufacturing facilities and printing presses.

This is the spacious home for the ultimate in printing presses, the Rapida 162, which excellent configuration makes it possible to execute printing, varnishing and drying at a speed of 10,000 printed sheets an hour.

The Lunapack plant includes the following

• Manufacturing premises and installations spread over an area of 17,000 m2.


• CIAT air-conditioning system and climate control of the workshops.


• Approach lines available in the plant estate.


• Three independent power sources with automated switching.


• Monthly output capacity of over 2000 tons of paper and cardboard.

• KBA Rapida 162 printing press with a format of 1120x1620mm comprising of 6 actual printing units which use the chamber rekel device technology). The IR and UV drying system is arranged in one processing line. This allows us to achieve, at a single paper run, a six-colour imprint coated with protective pearl or UF lacquer as well as any combinations of lacquer on demand.


• There is a logistics department at the plant which has wide experience in shipment of finished products to many overseas destinations using a variety of transportation methods.
